When buying
men’s cologne, we guys often make the mistake of only getting a whiff of the top note of the cologne’s aroma. The top note is two notes away from the end result and unless we try a sample for a week, we will miss the mark, but not the noses of folks across the room.

The Base notes of cologne are where the top and middle notes slide the aroma into. This is the actual aroma, and it is the scent that is most effected by chemicals from grooming products as well as the natural oils produced by the male physiology.
Allowing for all of this, men should remember that the colder months of the year are perfect for the woodsy and musk based aromas. Our skin is dry and we need a men’s cologne that will last through the day.

The term ‘day dress’ can be given to any dress for the women that’s worn only during the day. This means that everything that’s worn with the
day dress isn’t worn in the evening or night time. Even though it can get pretty confusing with all of these different terms wafting around, essentially the dress you wear during the daytime will be different from the one you’ll change into for an evening out.
All accessories and further clothing worn during the daytime will be toned down significantly to compensate for the rise in lighting, the weather and the activities carried out. The dress itself is more likely to be lighter and brighter in colour and of an informal type style. Jewellery does not have to be as dramatic or bling as it’s going to be better to see.
Purses or clutches can be lighter in colour or with more natural tones and shoes can be more of a casual type and style. Though many outfits can be worn both night and day, it is usually superior to make a change in clothing to match the planned events of the evening.
