Mind Meld of The Magic Genies

Sometimes it takes a little fantasy to help us understand that the conflict between different religious beliefs in the East and the West has reached critical proportions

“Stretched across the vast ineptitude of my soul, I see the ever present temptation of resurrection. I can take no more of new beginnings. Can you not see how vague is our horizon? Doesn’t the glare of mankind’s failure wrench you from your thoughts of a better tomorrow? Glorious, my irascible Magic Genie brother, where are we in the cosmic theme of things? What is there left for us to do? Standing here on a transparent cloud of nature’s quirky design, what can we hope to find in the future? When will God tell us what to do?”

“My old friend Gali, my magical soul mate, my Magic Genie brother, you are as ever the old world philosopher. We can try again. We can search for a better time. We have less than nothing else to do. We can put our minds together and deduce a new beginning, if not at the very beginning, at least not at the end of humanity. Let’s meld our purpose and share the provisions of our hearts and minds to reinstate the possible. God will give us guidance.”

“I see nothing but shadows Glorious. My thoughts are too disheartened for a meeting of our minds to do any good. Woe is me, where has all the magic gone?”
“It has left us at the entranceway of a new beginning my dear friend Gali if we can only find our way. We must try again. It is God’s will.”

“But they are all gone Glorious, all our friends, their culture, their very humanity. We cannot expect to resuscitate civilization with our own shaky salvation.”

” I guess Gali there is nothing left to do but have faith. What else is left to us?”

“Maybe you are right Glorious. What else can we do but have faith. I will try again with you. Come, join your thoughts with mine and we will try to begin again. Together we will resonate as one voice; one thought in our attempt with God’s help to resurrect humanity.”

“That’s the spirit Gali. After all, we are nothing if not free spirits.”

“This mind meld must be working Glorious. You are starting to sound like me.”

“And you Gali are starting to think like me. Isn’t it wonderful? Together we shall find the power for humanity’s salvation, and maybe even our own redemption. I can feel it, can’t you? The old magic is coming back. A new future is in the making. May we find a better way to be civilization’s guardians this time under God’s good grace. May we begin again.”

“Can you perceive it Glorious? Can you sense the strength returning to our spirit? Can you not see the vale of despair lifting? Where shall we start my old friend?”

“We must start before the final bombs fall Gali. We must go back in time. We must change the ending to find a new beginning.”
“I see, would that it were ever thus. Can we do this Glorious?”
“Do we have a choice Gali? “What are they waiting for?”

“They are waiting for final instructions Glorious. Here on the frozen Tundra of Siberia they are waiting for the command to let loose the final bombs that will end the world.

“Where will the orders come from Gali? What can we do to stop them? Why are they fighting?”

“They are fighting for different ways of life. They are fighting for religious principals. The orders will come from bunkers buried deep in the earth far from here where men of fanatical endeavor will give the orders. We can only stop them if we can show them that there is no one right way. We must show them that there has got to be a better way than destroying humanity to prove whose way is right. We must reinvigorate them with the possibility of a better tomorrow. We must give them hope Glorious. And we must do so quickly. Time my old friend is not on our side this day. We will have to split up. You must go to the West. I will go to the East. We must get them to stand down. Hurry, we are almost out of time. They are about to destroy the world. There will be nothing again - no humanity, no civilization, no hope for the future. I do not believe this is how God would have it.”

“How will I know what to say Gali?”

“Remember we are of one mind Glorious. We shall know each other’s thoughts. We shall speak as one mind. Hurry, we must find a better way. God will give us the words.”

Lose Your Belly Fat And Show Off Your Six Pack Abs

Have you noticed that most people will never fail to include abdominal muscle exercises in their routines and yet somehow or other, they can never own that coveted 6 pack abs?

Have you been religiously doing your abdominal muscle exercises? Is your abs showing to your satisfaction? No? Why? Do you know that your abdominal muscle is one of the easiest muscles to build but yet why is it that most people have difficulty in developing that 6 pack abs?

Here is the truth. Those of you who are working out your abs regularly do probably own that much sought after six pack. Yes, you do. The only trouble is that your belly fat is covering them. Your abs will not show up well if you have a body fat ratio of more than 12%. The more fat you burn off, the more defined your abs will be. You will own that rippling washboard abs when your body fat is 10% or less. So if you have fat on your belly, forget about abdominal exercises and burn off the fats first.

There is another reason why people put in so much effort to develop their abdominal muscle and yet their abs are not showing although they have low body fat. Again, there is a simple explanation. They are doing the wrong exercises and working out in bad form.

Let’s take for example the most common abs exercises, the sit up and the leg raisers. Everybody seem to be doing these two exercises not knowing that these exercises really don’t do much for their abs. Don’t believe me? Ok…try this. When you do your sit up or leg raisers, place your palms on your hip on the area connecting to your thigh and perform the exercises. Tell me what did you feel? Ahhh….you are getting it. Those muscles there are doing most of the work. Those are your hip flexor muscles. Since your hip flexors are doing most of the work, how can you develop your abs effectively?

So you say, from now on I will do crunches instead. Well, I have another surprise for you. Most people perform their crunches wrongly too. Think about it. Why is the exercise called the “crunch”? It is because you must squeeze your abs so are that you are crunching them. In order to squeeze your abs hard, you have to curl up like a prawn and breath out all the air in your lungs at the top position and then squeeeeeeeze the muscles so hard that you feel a burn. That will take a few seconds to crunch out all the air before you lower to the beginning position again. You can’t do this effectively if you just go up, down, up down, up down rhythmetically. So, if you have been doing hundreds of crunches everyday with minimal result, now you know why. In fact, it is almost impossible for the average guy to do tens of properly performed crunches and not to say hundreds of them. The same squeezing principle applies to other abs exercises.

Ok….now that you know why your abs are not showing up well, so get on with burning your fats and perform your workout in correct form. You will then see your 6 pack abdominal muscle in no time.

Ad Tracking

Ad tracking is simply the process of tracking the response from your ads. Why? Because you need to know where your traffic is coming from and how it is converting. This is particularly important if you are paying for adverts - you need to know which adverts are bringing you in business so you can keep them running whilst stopping the adverts that are not bringing in business.

How do you track your adverts? Well you could try and do it manually, but it is likely to be so time consuming that it will be a complete nightmare. The alternative is to use some ad tracking software. There are lots of scripts and utilities available for this. Using software will make it easier for you to determine which adverts are bringing you traffic and where to spend your advertising budget for maximum effect.

Affiliates

Affiliates is a big thing in Internet Marketing and it can be a bit difficult to understand it at first. There are really two terms here - Affiliate Manager and Affiliate. An Affiliate Manager is someone who runs an Affiliate Program and recruits Affiliates … you following me?

Everyone knows what McDonalds is - a restaurant, no ethical or nutritional debates here - it’s basically a big franchise. Mr McDonald sits in his ivory tower counting his money whilst Joe Bloggs runs a McDonalds restaurant.

Mr McDonald is the Affiliate Manager - he owns the franchise and sells rights to other people (the Affiliates) to run a restaurant. In order for them to do this he gives them resources such as training, knowledge, equipment and so on.

As an affiliate, you can expect your affiliate manager to give you useful tools you can use to sell his product.

Autoresponder

An autoresponder does exactly what it says on the tin - it responds automatically! To what you may ask - to email! This is how those crafty Internet Marketers fill up your inbox whilst sitting on the beach drinking cocktails!

An autoresponder allows you to set up a series of messages to be delivered to a recipient over a time period determined by you. It is a fantastic tool and one you should definitely invest in - remember, you are in Internet Marketing to make money and to have more time - an autoresponder will save you lots of time.

Will High Intensity Training Really Build Muscle Mass?

In order for your muscles to grow, you have to stimulate them
with a high intensity training stress and then allow them to
move through the three phases of the recovery process.

There seems to be a number of differing variations of high
intensity as it relates to bodybuilding, so let’s make sure we
are on the same page, okay?

High intensity refers to the percentage of momentary muscular
effort being exerted.

If you can curl a 100 pound barbell for 10 repetitions and an
11th repetition is impossible, you have performed high intensity
training and have trained with 100% intensity and to the point
of momentary muscular failure, if, and this is a big if, you
also gave it 100% mentally, not just physically.

And that makes high intensity training a completely different
kind of animal.

This is what is meant by the phrase, “training to failure”, as
advocated by high intensity training enthusiasts. In other
words, if you are doing a set of barbell curls and you perform
as many repetitions as possible until you can’t complete another
repetition in good form, you have trained to failure.

There is another important point we need to touch on in the
above definition and that is the ideal of volitional effort. You
see, your muscles are voluntary - they will not contract (work)
unless your mind tells them to do so.

You see, intensity, as it relates to bodybuilding, is the
possible percentage of momentary muscular and volitional
(mental) effort exerted. You can not train with 100% intensity
(train to failure) without doing so mentally as well as
physically.

The fastest way to make progress would be to stimulate your
muscles with high intensity weight training (in order to trigger
the adaptive response) and then minimize the stages of the
recovery process. The way to minimize the recovery process would
be by performing the least amount of exercise needed to trigger
the adaptive response - one set per exercise per body part.

One set per exercise per body part is the least amount of
exercise we can do and still stimulate muscle mass and strength
increases. By performing just one set, you limit the drain on
your body’s finite energy reserves.

Every set you perform eats in to your limited recovery ability.
Your workouts need to be hard, brief, and infrequent if you want
to make maximum progress in a minimal amount of time.

Once you’ve performed a high intensity set on an exercise,
you’ve triggered the adaptive mechanism that will allow over
compensation (increase in muscle mass and strength). It only
takes this one attempt (one set) to make progress. Performing
any more sets will only drain away your body’s limited recovery
ability.

If you remember, your muscles adapt and grow larger and stronger
by being exposed to an anaerobic stimulus that challenges their
current existence. In other words, progressive overload through
high intensity weight training.

If you train intensely enough, most of you will not duplicate or
outperform what you did in the first set. For example, if you
train to failure and manage to do 10 reps with 200 pounds in the
bench press, you will not be able to duplicate this performance.
You may get 6 or 7 reps on the second set.

So what would be the purpose of this set, since it does not come
close to challenging your body’s current strength level, and we
already know that is necessary in order to cause the adaptive
response we are looking for. All you’ve done is create a much
greater inroad into your body’s recovery ability. Although it
doesn’t seem like much, by adding a second set, you’ve increased
the volume for that body part by 100%!!

However, this is where things get muddy for the skinny
hardgainer. For you, it may be necessary to add another set or
two. Here’s why -

As a skinny hardgainer two things are likely - your muscles have
low neuromuscular efficiency and you have more slow twitch
fibers.

With lower neuromuscular efficiency your body may need a second
set to fire enough muscle fibers to trigger the adaptive
response. Thus, a second set could be of benefit.

In addition you need more time under load as discussed in the
previous report. In order to satisfy this as well as make up for
lower neuromusclar efficiency, you may need to add a set or 2 to
each exercise in order to make enough of an inroad to trigger
the adaptive response mechanism.

Keep in mind, there are a lot of variables when it comes to
designing a proper weight training program. I am not stating
that one set per exercise is the most effective way for you to
train all the time. But it is extremely effective, if (and
that’s a big if), you work at a high enough intensity level,
something very few people are able or willing to do.
